Tenuta Grimaldi is indeed the ideal place for those who love relaxation, nevertheless you may also choose from a few activities we selected for outdoor sports lovers, such as: Trekking through the paths of Monte San Vicino and Canfaito, with guide; Cycling with/without guide, e-bike rentals; Horseback riding, lessons in ranches, carriage rides, quad bike ride.
And for more adventurous types: paragliding, enjoying the sight of mountains, hills, valleys and even the sea, starting from the Apennines to the Adriatic.

Routes
The place, where Grimaldi Wine Resort stands, is set among the ridges of the central Apennines, but it is also not far from the Adriatic Sea. Itineraries can touch, in the same route, medieval villages and their festivals, food and wine delicacies, beaches and mountains, in a single glance.
Our area is also a good starting point to move to many other amenities, such as: The impressive Frasassi Caves; pretty town Assisi, where St. Frances originated; the very well preserved, medieval town Gubbio; and, by the sea-side, the Conero natural park, with its lovely beaches; UNESCO heritage Renaissance town Urbino, and famous painter Raphael origins; Loreto and its basilica; Jesi, where King Frederic II of Swabia was born; Fabriano and its long papermaking tradition; near the Sibillini Mountains:
Fermo with its long shoemaking tradition, and Ascoli with its many towers. Also more gastronomic tours and local festivals, in a generous and warm, yet reserved atmosphere, in a still genuinely authentic land, willing to share with you its roots and traditions.
Surroundings and local products
Tenuta Grimaldi is surrounded by a patchwork of fields, grown organic by small farms, producing excellent food and wine. Such products are to be found at morning breakfast and are served with wine as well, for our guests to enjoy the authentic taste of our territory. Wheat, cereals, chocolate, bakery, saffron, cold cuts and cheese produced by cattle and sheep kept in the wild.
Local suppliers are really only few minutes away from Tenuta Grimaldi, and our guests are welcome to pay a visit to their business and taste other products of theirs.
